Hello! I've got more cards for Dad to share with you today.
Below is the card I made to give my hubby for Father's Day this year.
I'm also adding this to the 'mapquest' challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.
A few new goodies were used to create this card...
These are the grid die & tilted banner die from Simon Says Stamp, and the vellum map piece from Studio Calico. A little modification was done to extend the banner to fit the sentiment though. Which seemed to do the trick. The sentiment is from PTI and so are the rest of the die elements (blue label backdrop, letters, & arrows) Plus, a couple of MME dots thrown in for fun.
A little close up view to show the layers and dimension.
And, for fun, here is the card I made for the hubby last year. I happen to come across this a couple weeks ago & thought I'd share.
I just love the textured stripe background and this label element.
Well that's it for now. I appreciate you stopping by! And I hope you are having a beautiful day. I'll be driving across the state with my daughter to spend a couple days with my mom & sister. Chick Fest!!!
