Father's Weekend

June 16, 2013

Hello!
Happy Father's Day!

I have lots of 'Dad' cards that I want to share with you.
So, for the next few days... It's all about Dad!

First up is the card I made for my dad, and I couldn't be happier with how this turned out.

This card started with my daughter pulling stuff off the shelves in my office... again.
She pulled out a sheet of patterned Studio Calico paper that I just ♥!
I noticed this block & the design wheels started spinning.

I used PTI's Boutique Border: Father stamp for the sentiment and the beautiful scroll below it from the Boutique Border: Baby set.  Both were embossed using Zing powder in chestnut (♥).  Then, I did a little die cutting for the letters and the arrow.  The arrow was stamped with PTI's background basics: Super Stripes for a little extra detail.  All of the die cuts were popped up with adhesive foam.  Then a little inking around the edges of the card base to match the patterned paper... and viola!

Hope you are enjoying your day.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by.

xo,
janelle
