I couldn't resist playing along when I saw this challenge. The inspiration photo at The Card Concept is so fun! Seriously... the wood grain, yarn wrapped letters, a heart banner...
need I say more?
I just loved the yarn wrapped letters. So, I found some wood arrow
embellishments and wrapped them with some floss in similar colors to the
picture. These arrows were then adhered to some hearts that I die cut
and layered together. Then I hand wrote 'love' for the finishing touch.
This was the first time that I have used wood veneer with a
die cut. It cut amazingly! And I look forward to using it again in
the future. How about you? Have you die cut wood veneer before?
